While working on a major Senate race, I began to hate tape.

A three-sided display tower made from yard signs is a useful tool for candidates. It's a simple, cheap way to create a display for a campaign launch, townhalls, meet-the-candidate events, cottage meetings, and other events.

At every event, I helped my campaign team tape yard signs into three-sided towers. This process was time-consuming and difficult, and worse of all, the tape ruined the signs by stripping the graphics. Our campaigns often lost hundreds of dollars in ruined signs at each event.

The age old thought came next - there has to be a better way to do this. Determined to find the solution, I researched everywhere, but no solution existed. So I decided to create one myself.

The goal was to create a small clip that perfectly fits a standard 4mm corrugated plastic sign. The result? The Sign Clip - a reusable connector that saves campaigns time and money.

The clips were an instant, word-of-mouth hit. I became known as "The Sign Clip Guy" and clips sold throughout the state.

I was surprised to learn that I absolutely loved designing, testing, tweaking, and creating The Sign Clip. This has become my passion, and I'm committed to bringing this cost-saving (and tapeless!) solution to as many candidates as possible.
