How To Build A Tower

  • Tip 1: Give it a Good Push

For a solid display, make sure your sign is fully inserted into the clip. Don't be afraid to give it a firm push until it's seated all the way down. A shallow grip is the enemy of a sturdy tower!

  • A large wall display made of multiple signs clipped together, featuring one intentional upside-down sign to demonstrate proper orientation.

    Tip 2: Mind the Orientation

Always check your signs are right-side up before you snap them in. Otherwise, you might end up with a 'creative' look like the photo above.

  • A branded yard sign securely placed in a grass lawn using traditional metal stakes, showing the sign's second life after being used in a display tower.

Tip 3: Retire to the Yard

When the sign corners eventually wear out from repeated clipping, don't toss them! They are still perfect for their original job. Stick them on a stake and put them in a yard. Roadside drivers won't mind a little character on the corners.

How To Build A Wall

Step 1: Build the First Tower Base

Start by assembling the base layer of a triangle tower (refer to the video above). Secure two of the three angles of the triangle using standard End and Middle Clips.

Step 2: Attach Clips A & B

On the third (open) angle of the triangle, attach Clip A to the bottom and Clip B to the top. These will serve as the anchor for your wall.

Step 3: Connect the First Wall Panel

Slide a yard sign into the vertical channel created by Clip A and Clip B. This connects the main wall to your tower base.

Step 4: Add Clip C

Attach Clip C onto the bottom-right corner of the newly placed sign.

Step 5: Expand the Wall

Slide the next yard sign into Clip C to extend the length of your wall.

Step 6: Secure with Clip D

Place Clip D at the top where the two signs meet to lock them together. (Repeat Steps 5 and 6 if you are building a wider 5x5 wall).

Step 7: Prepare the End Connection (Clip E)

Attach Clip E to the bottom-right corner of your final wall sign. On a 4x4 wall, this is the third sign across (see image). If you are building a larger 5x5 wall (repeating steps 5 and 6), this would be the 4th sign across.

Step 8: Transition to the Second Tower

Insert another yard sign into Clip E. This panel will serve as the front face of your second triangle tower.

Step 9: Complete the Second Tower Base

Finish the base layer for the second triangle tower. Use two End and two Middle Clips to secure the far-right and back angles.

Step 10: Lock the Wall to the Second Tower

Attach Clip B to the top of the final angle - the one where the tower meets the wall - to fully secure the base structure.

Step 11: Build the Second Layer

Build the second tier by sliding yard signs onto the top of your first layer. Be sure to include panels for both the central wall and the end towers.

Step 12: Secure the Second Tier Clips

Attach a new row of clips across the top of the signs: use Middle Clips for the tower end and back angles, Clip B for the wall-to-tower connection, and Clip D for the middle wall sections.

Step 13: Scale to Your Desired Height

Repeat the process (Steps 11 and 12) to add additional layers until the wall reaches your desired height.

Step 14: Finish the Left Tower Top

Once the final layer of signs is in place, it’s time to cap them for stability. Attach two End Clips to the top far-left and back angles of the left-hand tower.

Step 15: Cap the Left Connection (Clip E)

Place Clip E on the top of the third angle where the left tower meets the wall.

Step 16: Cap the Wall (Clip C)

Attach Clip C onto the top edge of the wall panels to create a clean, finished look. (Repeat for wider walls).

Step 17: Cap the Right Connection (Clip A)

Attach Clip A to the top of the angle where the right tower meets the wall.

Step 18: The Final Touch

Secure the final two End Clips to the top far-right and back angles of the right-hand tower.

Step back and enjoy your new custom display wall!
